November 18, 05... Where does the time go?! It's been a whole month since I updated..wow! Well, anyway..I am now in my new place and getting things settled and situated still. At the art fair that I mentioned last month, I did sell a copy of the print "Dead Trees". I hope the lady that bought it, enjoys it. It's one of my favs. Anyway..I can't spend all my time unpacking, so in between boxes I did a new painting. You can find it in My Gallery, its at the very top. I just call it Landscape.
October .17,05.. Hello! Been awhile, I know..sorry. Life is crazy lately. But I will brief you real fast. For one thing I am moving to a new home. (website will stay the same though) I am doing a art fair the 29th of this month, that has kept me busy. I finished the illustrations for the children's book that me and my daughter did together. It turned out nice. I may offer it for sale soon. I am also going to add more options to my smkStore soon. I added a new picture to MyGallery called Vivid Fibs. It's a photo of my uncle, cousin and their friend. There is also a new link at the top and bottom of the pages now to MyGallery page. I don't have too much to report but if you ever have questions or ideas, please write me. The holidays are coming up so maybe you might like a custom graphic or painting done for that hard to buy for person. ...thanks for stopping by and please stop again...bfn :)
August 28, 05... Seems I'm a tad bit behind here. Life has been busy, but let me brief those who take the time to read this. For one thing, I did enter a lot of my artwork in the state fair this year. To my amazement, I won first place! and second place in the photographic before and after division. I also won judges choice award (1st place) in the fine arts division..plus a few other merit awards. I also just sold my very first artwork I have for sale at the art gallery. That tickles me. :) If you scroll down this page, the one that sold is the first one in the pictures below. It is called Painted Creek. It is also for sale unmated and unframed in the smkStore.....I added a new painting for show in My Gallery, it is called Imaginary Landscape...I just finished 12 weeks of Painter IX classes, so hopefully I'll have some new artwork to show and sell soon. Don't forget though, I also do artwork with "your" favorite photographs too. ........that's it for now..hope everyone is having a great summer!
June 26, 05...Was a slowwww weekend, so I did a few artworks and added them to My Gallery. One is a hand painting of a lighthouse/ocean, "Stormy Blue Night". The other one is a photo effects, "Storm Runner'. Don't ask me what all the storm art is about cuz I couldn't tell you. Stormy thought just suited the weekend, I guess.
June 23, 05... New artwork added to My Gallery. Guitar Pickin and Old Cars was done for my dad and I Wanna Be a Cowboy was done for my cousin.

June 08, 05... First things first. I changed the order of this page so that the latest news is at the top. Hopefully that'll help those who read this page often. .....On with the news! I did add a new gallery with assorted pics of some of my work. there is a button on the Welcome page for it. I added a new print to the smkStore today. The print is called "Montana Past" and it is a digital hand painting. I have loved that old farm house all my life and have always wondered about the history of it. Who the families were that lived in it..etc. If I find the history on it I will post it. I also tried finding the history on the painting of the Old Mine Shaft and of Montana Legacy. I had no luck with either, but I will keep looking. .........I also have a new entry in the Customer Remarks page. The lady who wrote the remarks also gave me permission to show her before and after pictures. I went ahead and just did a separate page for them since there were to many to add to the side-view like the other remarks. .......And last but not least for today. I want to say Thank You to all those who take the time to look at this website. Although I have not made any sales from this site as of yet, I have gotten many nice compliments from viewers and I appreciate them all..so Thank You! :)
May 29, 05... Today I added two more prints to the smkStore. They are at the bottom of the page. I probably should have put the new stuff at the top....hummm..well folks, for now please scroll. :) The one print is a pile of junk used for target shooting. I found it to be interesting in some bizarre way. Like redneck graffiti or something..lol. I did the painting using my new Painter IX. The other print is kept more to its original form. It has a strong sense of Montana heritage feeling to it. Yes, I love Montana :) ............that's all for now.
April 28, 05... Today I went and took pics of my artwork at the gallery. All 5 of them were hung out, even though they had told me they only hang 3 items from a single artist at one time. PLUS, one of them..the deadtrees..is in the front window! Is that uptown or what!? All 5 pics are also for sale at the smkStore but without mat and frame. I hope to offer matting at a later date...anyway, below are my artworks at the gallery. You can click them to see them bigger if you'd like.........that's all the news for now. :)

April 20, 05... I am thrilled! I had submitted 5 of my artworks to Gallery 16 in Great Falls, Montana to be judged for consignment sale. All 5 were accepted and will be hung next week. :) I will try to post pictures of the artwork all matted and framed and looking totally professional at a later date. :) A special "Thank You" for helping get them ready goes to, Scott, Harold, Bob, Shelley and Beth :) ...............other news.......I added a guest artist area to my site. There is a small catch to be my guest though. You must have a disability and an artistic talent. I know many artistic people but they just do not know how to build a website to showoff...like me! lol I only learned to do all this to showoff ya know. :)
April 5, 05... Doing some updating here. I added two more before and after images to the B&A page. One is an old truck but I'm not 100% sure that I have its make and year correct. The other was a sketch of a wolf that a friend asked me to fix up for him. ..................other news.......I just got Corel Painter IX!!! so once I learn that, I'll be adding more artwork the the smkStore. :)
March 8, 05... This page should be one of your first stops if you come to this site often...and I hope you will. I will post notices here for new artwork being sold in the smkStore. This page will also have other notices for whatever else may be going on in this new business. I have lots of ideas for this website and business, so please keep checking back to see what's new!
March 30, 05... I added a counter to the store page. I do have site statistics but I think the PayPal buttons mess it up on the store page because it always says 0! Well dang! its hard to run a store on 0! I'm still waiting for someone to click a Add to Cart button.. come on, come on, click it! I dare ya! :)
